CEMOS AUTO HEADER automatically adjusts VARIO cutterbar settings.

The judges awarded the second silver medal for extending the CEMOS environment on LEXION combine harvesters to include the CEMOS AUTO HEADER system. CLAAS developed the CEMOS AUTO HEADER to reduce the operator's workload during combining operations. This assistance system automatically adjusts cutterbar settings such as table length and vertical/horizontal reel position to suit the threshing conditions.

The control system uses data from a laser sensor and oscillation data acquired by the material feed height sensor in the feeder housing. The resulting even crop feed into the combine harvester improves threshing performance and enables sustained operation at full capacity.

The CEMOS DIALOG operator assistance system guides you to the optimal machine setup. Settings which are confirmed by you are implemented directly by CEMOS DIALOG.

AUTO CROP FLOW recognises peak loads.

AUTO CROP FLOW continuously monitors the speeds of the threshing unit, secondary separation and engine. If the preset slip limit is overshot, the system automatically takes measures to prevent any more material from entering the machine. In this way, downtime because of blockages or damage is avoided and components are not overloaded.

AUTO SLOPE manages cleaning on slopes.

Hilly fields are a challenge for the grain cleaning system. Uphill, the fan speed has to be reduced, downhill it has to be increased. AUTO SLOPE reduces your workload by controlling the fan speed on the basis of the longitudinal tilt.

CRUISE PILOT controls the speed.

  2. Constant throughput: all the key assemblies are subject to consistent loading even under changing conditions.
  3. Cruise control: harvest at a constant speed

CEMOS AUTO CLEANING.

The fan speed and the upper and lower sieve opening are the parameters by which CEMOS AUTO CLEANING regulates grain cleaning. In the background, the system continuously tests various settings to optimise performance. If parameters such as yield, grain quality, throughput or moisture change, CEMOS AUTO CLEANING responds immediately.

CEMOS AUTO SEPARATION.

CEMOS AUTO SEPARATION continuously optimises secondary separation in CLAAS HYBRID combined harvesters. It automatically re-adjusts the rotor speed and the position of the rotor flap to reflect any changes in harvesting conditions. Without the operator being aware, CEMOS AUTO SEPARATION tests various settings in the background and selects the best one.
